(November 6, 2007) -- Ironworks Consulting, a management and Web consulting firm, hosted its “Sandwich Series” luncheon from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. today at The Place at Innsbrook in Glen Allen, Va. The “Sandwich Series” provides attendees with a morning session, lunch, and then an afternoon session, allowing attendees the flexibility to attend one or both presentations.
The morning session, Business Intelligence and Microsoft Performance Point, demonstrated how the Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions provides businesses with a user-friendly set of tools for reporting, analysis, corporate performance management and collaboration. The Business Intelligence presentation outlined how to leverage their organization’s information assets to make better decisions and rapidly create business value. The afternoon session, Compliance Processes and Microsoft SharePoint 2007, focused on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 as a workflow tool to manage SOX and other compliance processes. As part of the presentation, Ironworks illustrated that MOSS 2007 delivers a user-friendly platform for workflow, referential data, version control, dashboards and reporting, role-based access, and document retention.
